Many things can make a hole in your pool screen enclosure. But the one thing that most people don’t think about is palm trees making holes or rips in their screen. This can happen in 2 ways. The first and most obvious way is if a palm branch falls on the enclosure screen. Most of the time it will make a hole or rip. So keep your palm trees trimmed.
However, the second way is when the palm branch just sweeps across the screen but does not rip the screen at first. After a time the palm branch leaves ware the screen out and it makes a hole.
The solution is to keep your palm trees trimmed and not allow any branches to touch the screen.
